MiracleMission #1-Running4Miracles
The first certified MiracleMission, Running4Miracles, founded by Dr. Conway, is a nationwide initiative dedicated to running 50 marathons in 50 states to honor 50 premature babies and raise funds for NICU programs. The mission is deeply personal: Conway’s son, Brooks, now 20 and a sophomore at the University of Nebraska, was born at 25 weeks, weighing just 1 lb. 6 oz., and spent four months in the NICU. The Children’s Miracle Network helped save his life, and Running4Miracles is Conway’s way of paying it forward.
Each marathon honors a specific preemie and their journey, raising awareness, inspiring hope, and giving back to the hospitals and communities that support these children. Through endurance, compassion, and perseverance, Running4Miracles transforms miles into meaningful impact. Since May 2022 the initiative has raised over $22,000 in 14 states.
